Creative Teens
Is your teen looking to continue into an artistic GCSE, A-level or future career?
As a qualified Art teacher, Amy knows too well the pressure that schools, teachers and children have when it comes to education. Examinations and a focus on ‘academic’ subjects, means less time for creativity, leaving the teens with artistic interests, undervalued and uninspired. Creative freedom, intuition and imagination are unrecognised qualities within a school setting, but are imperative to a person’s creative confidence, wellbeing and intellectual growth. Not to mention the mental health, cognitive and dexterity benefits that come with these skills.
Creative Teens sessions are guided by Intuitive Artist, Amy. Each class will take the group through techniques that will build upon their existing artistic skills, using quality materials and following themes they will love. These sessions are designed to complement and enhance the art they are already crafting for their GCSE/A-levels. Amy’s guidance is tailored to their individual interests and projects, ensuring they are not confined to a one-size-fits-all theme, but rather encouraged to explore and develop their unique artistic visions. In the calm atmosphere of the studio, we encourage teens with a love of art & creativity to socialise, explore different themes, learn new techniques and discover new media which they adore!
